Kani-kanina
Aww. =c Nakakalungkot na dahil sa hirap ng buhay ngayon, many people have grown not to look forward to Christmas. Let's face it. The Filipino people have grown poorer and more meager to this day. It is no longer surprising that only a special few are able to celebrate Christmas. But Christmas would always be Christmas for Filipinos, whether or not they have moola in their pockets. Let's not allow Christmas to get to the level of being an event the mere purpose of which is to show-off. After all, there are always alternatives: Juan Dela Cruz has the bright night star overhead as his parol, the gummamela plant outside as his Christmas Tree, the tuyo as his lapu-lapu, and finally, his own heart as a gift to others.
If not for him naman, wala tayong Christmas. More importantly, wala tayo. If you know what I mean.
